1. The task force formed by the Foreign Ministry to support the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games was launched and held its first meeting at the Foreign Ministry on March 7. Ambassador for Public Diplomacy Park Enna leads the task force until October.

2. The meeting, which brought together all of the relevant divisions of the Foreign Ministry, covered in depth ways to support the Olympic and Paralympic Games overall, including promoting the Games through overseas diplomatic missions; rendering assistance with protocols for major foreign figures; and providing a range of administrative assistance, such as in issuing visa to participants.

3. Going forward, the Foreign Ministry will continue cultural diplomacy activities and others in a wide range of areas to help make a success of the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. Furthermore, it will remain in close cooperation with the PyeongChang Organizing Committee and other relevant government agencies.
