The government of the Republic of Korea expresses its deep concern over Israel’s recent declaration of over 800 hectares of land in the West Bank’s Jordan Valley as “state land.”

The construction of settlements is against international law and undermines not only the viability of a two-state solution but also the international community’s efforts to reduce tensions in the region. The government of the Republic of Korea calls on the Israeli government to reverse its decision.
